• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I just discovered Deep Brown Noise and it has a weird (good) effect. It's as if my brain can't hear tinnitus and the DB noise at the same time so that although it notices the tinnitus, it's as if it is detached from me and not within me. It makes my hearing feel calm. Has anyone else tried it?

I tried it, for years, since my neighbour used to piss me off with gargabe music out loud, all the time and I couldn't sleep.
It works, but you gotta out it really loud so it will replace whatever noise is bothering you. The downside is that, at some point, the brown nois is going to piss you off too. But its way better than listening to your neighborhood shit anyway
