Help DMC SN hard as a rock?

My SN came and it's rock solid to the touch. Doesn't feel grainy at all. Is this normal? I've seen a couple of people say it's because of the vacuum-sealing on the package and that it'll turn to a more normal salt consistency once you open it. Can anyone confirm this? I haven't opened it yet and I won't until I'm ready to use it.

Any help would be appreciated because I'm a little worried

No problem, glad I could alleviate any concerns! When you do decide to open it, it should soften and have more of a salt-like consistency.
