• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I heard that one benefit of being in your 30s/40s is that you're respected more. In real life and online.

I think that's true at least from what I've seen on online forums. If someone expresses an opinion like hating family. wanting to die, having trouble in life they'll get the "you're just angsty/spoiled brat, grow up" attitude if they're in their early 20s. If they're middle aged people will be "more sympathetic".

Unfortunately yes I'd say the decision is looked at differently if you're a bit older. That's as much as I will say.

It is quite common . The ageism is selfish. I was denied disability because of my age. There's a belief that older people deserve more or have "earned " it. While younger people deserve less or need to suffer more.
