• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Ive had to delete a few of my posts because I find myself accidently exposing pro life view points. There is some sort of battle within me, as my brain is desperately trying to convince me my philosophy is wrong because it is so "bleak." Has anyone else experienced the same? I've just recently adopted my new way of thinking and its so extremely radical compared to my old thinking.

Makes sense because most people are not on any extreme end of the pro-choice spectrum. When you're in the middle (pro-choice), you're going to have complicated thoughts that sometimes might lean towards recovery.

I would always choose death over living. I think the more you suffer, the more you could never want to exist, even for a moment. I think the people who don't suffer as much might fall into a more pro life stance at times because they simply still have something to hold onto. Things aren't that bad then because if you suffer enough and badly enough, pro life doesn't exist anymore.

I don't think it's all together unreasonable. Ultimately, I think it would be more extreme to wish an early death on everyone you come into contact with here! Maybe reasonable for a promortalist but the majority of members are more in the middle I would say.

Really, we don't know one another here. Not all members go into long painful details about what has brought them to this point. Plus, some people are genuinely unsure as to whether they want to try to live or die.

I think basically, we (hopefully) want the best for one another here. So, unless their situation is obviously absolutely dire with no chance of getting better, we likely do try to problem solve for them. Sometimes we can actually be in a position where we can't see the wood for the trees. But still, I think a person needs to feel open to that. Most members I imagine will say if a response seems unrealistically positive or, they'll just ignore it.

I do know what you mean though. It can be kind of odd/ hypocritical even when we feel like their are solutions for other people but not ourselves. Ultimately, I suppose I just hope for the best for people. Great if that does mean recovery but, if they choose to CTB and are successful, I also have to feel relieved that they earnt their peace.
