The "identity" is what makes a being what it is. Which means that, in a literal sense, someone who do not have an identity may not be considered as "someone" or as an entity that is (exists).
However, we may suppose that humans are not necessarily as free as to form an independent identity. Let's take for example a group of individuals that allocate all of their resources to a certain hobby (i.e. fans of a soccer team). This group of people act as a 'group' by basically doing the same actions (watching all the team games, buying their merchandises, joining their groups online...) and as a result, we may be able to say that these individuals have the same identity (whether you think this is a good or bad thing, it's completely subjective) and if we know the future plans of one member, we can easily know what the others will be doing in the near future.
Some may argue that these soccer team supporters have lost their original identity and they can no longer be labeled as free beings, however, I disagree with that, because it was their choice to 'loose' their freedom, thus they were free in deciding their identity.
As for myself, I do not think that human beings are that interesting as to have an "identity". It is just an abstraction that they create in order to feel that their being is not totally meaningless. Basically, it is an idea they created so as to make their lives more interesting and feel unique in someway.
