I noticed there's a lot of neurodiversity on this forum and it got me curious if any of you have any special interests you want to talk about?

One of mine is cryptography. Especially digital encryption, secret codes, and constructed languages. Once I get started on that, it's hard for me to shut up lol.

I tend to "jack-of-all-trades" it. I have a youtube channel that has been sorely neglected recently but going in on the content is a little too revealing. @LaVieEnRose can vouche that it is special in its own dumb way that's helpful to no one lol.

Encryption is really cool, and very relevant these days. I have some clients working with big AI projects related to breaking and defending against breaking encryption, but I'm no expert myself.

it's made for an extremely narrow audience by definition. I'm not self-hating there, as there is 0 expectation or hope of it ever being a "thing." My wife and I have a Youtube channel together that actually is gaining some popularity because it is not so niche.

Is it smart to admit that in this forum? You have more than 1800 posts. Of course it depends on how much you releal on that channel. I once had a Youtube channel but never showed my face. I think the content was rather mediocre.

There once was a member from Argentina who had a Youtube channel. He got stalkers but he also revealed his face on here. Eventually he left this forum.

Probably not smart, especially since the mods own my posts and there's no way to mass delete the account. But, whatever. If someone links it back here somehow, what should I be ashamed of? That I was suicidal before or that I've been trying to help people learn to feel better?

I don't really have any special interests. I have some knowledge about certain media I enjoy but I don't consider myself as much of an expert on any of these topics as others are.

One of my biggest problems is that I am not an expert in any field. I do not have much knowledge about any subject.
I jump around to topics that interest me at the moment and only get a small part of the information.
That is why I do not have any special interests or hobbies.

making music and music in general probably. it's nice as an emotional outlet too since i feel like it's hard for me to get my feelings out in any normal way typically. only problem is i have long periods where i feel unable to make anything (this year in particular has been bad T_T)
