Discussion Do you think dreams mean anything?

I have always been fascinated by dreaming. I have read people that have lucid dreams and even had 2 myself. they really do feel like a out of body experience.

I have been making a ctb plan lately. more thought out and wrting my suicide note by hand. It has seemed to have caused some crazy dreams to occur. I had one 2 nights ago about snakes

(if you want to hear the dream: someone gave me a zoo and one of the attractions was a cage filled with snakes and the zoo was abandoned for like 10 years so when I went into the cage there were like thousands of snakes surrounding me from where they had all been breeding for the past 10 years.) - lol I thought it was funny and random dream.

anyway tho... I read online that snakes symbolize a struggle in ones life. which is pretty ironic since im actually struggling to live.... and another reason was that it can mean one is transforming [like a snake shedding its skin] which could also mean im coming to terms with ending my life. Either way dreaming is one of the few things I enjoy about life. I just love the thought of escaping into another world where the possibilities are endless.

All I do is have weird, wild, and crazy dreams ! There's only been 1 time in my life where I woke up and did not remember dreaming.
I have a lot of lucid dreams (they don't last long) nightmares, and reoccurring dreams.

I fell asleep one time in my English class in high school and I started dreaming that I was riding a skate board in a park somewhere and I started to go down a long flight of cement stairs and I fell off the skateboard then woke up and as I was waking up I pushed all the books and stuff on my desk onto the floor and everybody just started looking at me like wtf and started laughing at me.

And so far all of my dreams have been 100% imagination.

Most of my dreams are about me being involved romantically with someone. I hate it, they just remind me of what I'm missing. Maybe I dream those dreams because it's my desire? I don't really believe in dream interpretation though.

as a child i used to dream a lot..i remember one dream which i was terrified of even speaking...i was around 9 them .my mom left to a near by city on official work.. that night i had a dream where i was carrying my mom's hand bag..crying, telling my uncle to inform my dad that mom is no more... it felt so real that i woke up in the middle of night and couldn't go back to sleep... mobile phones weren't there then...n my home was on a field trip..i had spend the entire day terrified... next day morning when my mom arrived i hugged her and started crying...told her about my dream.. she calmed me and i forgot about it... after couple of years my mom reveled to me that the bus she was travelling had actually met with an accident the night of my dream..luckly it wasn't a major one and every one on board were safe..

I have ones with the predator chasing me and just had one 2 nights ago and those dreams always suck like really bad big time for me

Yea it's traumatic during the dream but then I wake up and think it's funny.

I had this one dream where I was going around ripping the heads off of vampires with my bare hands It lasted about 10 minutes and was great !
wish I had dreams like that every night
