• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

You linked an article from a CATHOLIC group.

What's your point?

This is a pro-life website. Please get your news from a less biased source. The language used in the article is fear-mongering, when the laws are fine, and wishing to take your own life is also fine. Quite a shitty article too, this news has been going around for the past week and this article barely has any info that others include

Don't be so patronizing guys. You don't have to be a PRO-lifer to post this. Can't we at least look beyond that and be a little more considerate? We aren't running from reality here. The contrast between pro- life/choice isn't something to hide. It's part of everyday life.

Thanks for posting Toolate.

So what, you guys can't function outside of an echo chamber? Story showed up in my newsfeed so I copy-pasted knowing that journalism is dead and it being a news story, would be 99% identical to every other report about it.

I couldn't find any "pro-suicide" reports about it on a quick google search, but here are some other links that will tell you the exact same thing since so may if you "can't even".

Here's the same story from CBS: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/belgium-investigates-doctors-who-euthanized-autistic-woman-tine-nys/

NYPost https://nypost.com/2018/11/27/doctors-probed-for-euthanizing-autistic-woman/

And for our European friends, The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...rst-criminal-investigation-of-euthanasia-case

Sorry you are right, jumped the gun there a little bit as usual—whenever I see the word Catholic I become highly defensive.

Surprise surprise: the docs say the family of the woman who received assistance to end her life is highly dysfunctional!

Hopefully the courts will see through their bullshit and the case will be thrown out.

No worries, they're an awful lot.

I, too, hope they are cleared of wrongdoing but then will comes the cases that really matter to the family; the civil ($$$) cases, where the burden of proof is far less.

I'm willing to bet that the family benefited from here existence in some way and that is the driving factor in all of this.
