Discussion Does anyone here know Dirk Rusthoven/Dirk Delirium? Morphine OD method...

He was a recovering alcoholic who was a speaker and had a YouTube channel making "sober content", but he died last year at age 53, not from alcohol or liver disease, but from morphine toxicity. It said he had 20mg of morphine as well as some benzos in his blood. Until very recently he spoke highly about life and warning people not to die from alcohol or alcohol withdrawal.

Nobody on his channel or elsewhere commented on this being a suicide, but I highly suspect it was. I mean 20mg morphine. This gives some hope to the morphine OD method, but how could he have consumed 20mg of morphine?

It says "Dirk died from Morphine toxicity, according to after death medical findings. Dirk had 0.27 mg of Diazepam in his blood and more than 20 mg of Morphine."

I'm wondering also if they meant 20g instead of mg. I have tried ingesting 80mg of oxycontin within a 12 hour span, and even mixed with rum, and all that happened was I nodded off and puked later. So 20mg morphine seems like nothing.

He prob relapsed. When you're clean and relapse even small amount can kill you. Or maybe suicide. Who likes to continue this fucking life. I feel like everyone is suicidal right now

It is technically possible to pass for 20mg if your body has no tolerance to it, but rare

I do not know what the max dosage for morphine is, but 20 mg in the blood does not equal that he has taken 1 20 mg tablet. It is broken down by the liver before it enters the blood. I think about 20-40% of the drug comes in the bloodstream
