Story Emotion's and empathy

Since for as long as i can remember i never had a feeling of empathy for other humans someone could die right in front of me and i wouldn't care my emotions are pretty dead to say the least almost every part of me is i take a look in the mirror and i just see lifeless fish eye's completely void of any sort of happiness does anyone else experience this and what do they think of it? sometimes it's a little vexing seeing how you differ so heavily from other people and you've never really noticed untill someone tell's "i've never seen you happy" or "i've never seen you smile" (one of my classmates in highschool) and it's strange that now i'm aware of it or rather i was already aware of the lack of emotion and empathy but never new it was that bad. This is what i feel like rather than a diagnosis if anyone has any professional experience in this field please do PM me or text here either or but i primarily want to get other's opinion more specifically those that feel the same way

My emotional range is restricted but thats probably because of my MDD, for example i cant cry no matter how hard i try.

If i remember right i don't cry unless it's do to physical pain which in on itself doesn't normally happen anyway
