Anybody else really relate to this project despite not having dementia? I honestly think that it can be extended to represent mental illness in general, with Stage 6 especially being the moments of CTB. Stage 1 are the first moments of initial trauma and sadness, not having yet become fixed modes within the mind. There are attempts to maintain happiness past the pain and life still seems to have a glimmer of hope. Stage 2 is when acute becomes chronic and those moments of happiness become more fleeting. Stage 3 are the final moments of any deep and lasting contentment, from here the bleakness has become a mainstay and pain is now the default mode instead of temporary moments in time. Stage 4 is pure sadness and pain, any moments of glee have been drowned under a sea of misery and now the days seem to just wash away as everything becomes a faded blur. Stage 5 is the beginning of the end, where the last connections to reality become severed and any hope for recovery is lost. This is the stage where one loses themselves in the fog of disillusion and begins to lose themselves as a person. Stage 6... fin.
