Does anyone else here find these films of his the most perfect descriptions of existence? Everything this man ever directed, pity he decided to quit. I know he came from a repressive regime, which coloured his views on humanity and life. But i think the man had a deep understanding of what you could call the human condition once the bullshit has been scraped away.
