  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hey. So basically I met a girl like 2 weeks ago and we developed a lot of trust over the days, we go out like 2 o 3 times a week and talk a lot. Today she told me that she didn't feel right about herself and has a lot of trouble sleeping and eating, so she thinks she has depression and is really troubled for a lot of reasons.

Do you have any advices about what should I tell her? or talk about? The first thing I did was to tell her I understand her and that I passed through the same thing (just the basic phrases you tell to someone struggling) but I don't know what else should I talk to her or advice her, because I've never received one.

Hope you are all doing well.

The best way to start is her going to her GP doctor and explain all that. At least she is not suicidal, so help her out and get an appointment as soon as possible. Depression can be just a few short weeks or take months or years, or maybe she could just be feeling tired. Only the doctor will be able to tell. Wish you good luck, it's ver sweet of you to help your girl.

One thing to keep in mind is that guys often focus on what to do and gals often wish for someone to listen and be interested.

You might inquire if her feeling bad is something recent or event related or if it is something she has always dealt with.

Just your being concerned and supportive may be sufficient.

Thank you for your answer. I will do that, just listen and be comprehensive.
