  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

So I'll keep it short:
3 Years ago I developed Major Depression and was hospitalized for suicide ideation
Tried a lot of med: Elavil, Lexapro, Trazadone, Trintellix, Seroquel, Risperidone
One time my mom went to a psychiatrist alone and I dont know what she told her, but she brought home Cymbalta
Im on day 8 of Cymbalta, was difficult to start: fatigue and sexual dysfunction are bad
However, it is first time since childhood I feel calm, I am talkative, grateful again and spontaneous, suicide thoughts are gone

I hope You will find your won magic pill!

I'm glad you feel much better now with this medication, after trying out so many drugs to no avail. I wish you a complete recovery!

I did a stupid mistake asking my psychiatrist to switch me from cymbalta to Trintellix. Yes it gave me sexual dysfunction but i should not have taken that as an issue since I'm not sexually active and never been in a relationship. I'm going to ask him to put me back on Cymbalta. I'm glad it's working for you

I'm so happy for you x

I didn't know you could be hospitalized for ideation - that's good care practice though because a lot of the time they only care once you've taken action.

Im happy for you, cymbalta for me didn't work, only Viorxetine, but of course our bodies are different. Keep up the good work. Risperidone scares the F out of me. Had horrible side effects with it. Most anti depressants lower our sex drive just in the beginning imo. Great news.

Glad you found something that works—Happy for you! I'm on Cymbalta as well. It doesn't cause me sexual dysfunction really (Luvox did) but I can't say it's working. Maybe I need to up my dose.
