  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Most people on this website know what full suspension hanging is, but just in case, it is NOT the same thing as drop hanging where you break your neck.

I can't get a shotgun. I am still under the minimum age to purchase a handgun. So I would have to use a black powder rifle if I wanted to shoot myself. The other option I'm looking at it is full suspension hanging. Which method is more effective?

I think I won't have any problems with hanging. I tried it before with no hesitation, but unfortunately, the rope was too elastic.

I'm a little worried about the black powder gun. I would prefer to use a shotgun, but that just is not an option.

Full suspension it is, grab a static rope this time. Got a bad feeling about the rifle

No, use the gun, maybe use a device that fires it for you

With the gun you die in 1 second and no one can save you

I think the gun is more risk to fail if you have never shot with a gun...
I´d prefer full suspension with a non elastic rope

What is a black powder gun? I'm in the US and I've never heard of it. It's extremely hard to pull the trigger. Personally I could buy another shotgun in 3 days and I'm going with full suspension hanging.

Not really sure what kind it was. I just used a rope we had. I noticed I kept falling to the ground (the only place to do full suspension in my room is about a foot taller than me) and I couldn't compress the arteries when attempting partial suspension. So I tried pulling on it and saw that it stretched quite a bit.
