  • Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Time is melting and my brain is frying. I have come to a point where my main focus is pondering rare abstract nouns, telling humorous jokes (funny to me, heh), internet surfing to see what clicks to my amusement, exploring how dark my mind can go with my subconscious, and praying that I'll eventually become stronger one day.

I can't wrap my head around what other's do with their time. Am I in the right place in life? Do I owe people something? I try to be kind to them, because I find everybody interesting and part of some sort of "colony", but is kindness enough to suffice for the betterment of everyone? I'm okay with where I'm at, but it seems people keep "wanting more". I just need to be the most responsive to change and want that more than anything.

Pardon me if I sound unintelligable, but I believe tragedy is what makes a good movie. I don't know what the fuck I just said there, heh.

At the time of the Roman emperors most people worked like slaves just to survive. In contrast, the emperors lived in luxury mostly seeking amusements and diversions. Today, because of our technology, many people have the same problem as Roman emperors.

We can learn a little from Marcus Aurelius who stands almost unique as an emperor. He was a stoic and was able to resist much of the corruptible influences associated with idleness. A foundation of self-discipline is never fun to build, but it can pay off in many ways.

Very interesting. I've accepted these random emotions and feelings that burst and just seem to "go with the flow" now, if you know what I'm saying. I try not to let them affect me too bad, but I understand "it is what it is." I've also sort of incorporated a philosophy that shit just happens and everything is a part of life. I hope I keep getting more adaptive to my environment over time. Change is good. I've picked up fasting and doing exercises to ease my mind a little bit also.
