I'm going to get diagnosed in about 2 weeks. It looks like they'll diagnose me with autism. I'm 28. They were testing for ADHD and autism, but apparently it seems like I won't get the ADHD diagnosis based on what the therapist said from my DIVA interview. Sucks because autism cant really be treated, its just how I am. I don't want to be this way.

As someone with very late diagnosed AuDHD, it's not the end! Remember, while there may not be some kind of magic pill or anything of the sort for autism, it can contextualise a lot of tings for you. Believe it or not, that helps loads - it made so much of my life, my interactions (and neurotypical people's responses to me and my failure to understand them) make so much more sense.

Autism can be treated with yoga. I reccomend this channel- both her and the practice seems weird but it works:

I hope it goes well for you, I'm so glad you're going to get a diagnosis. It probably helps a lot to be able to explain to other people who abuse and mistreat you and its not your fault.
