Discussion H2 Antagoinsts vs. Proton Pump Inhibitors

We are using H2 antagonists (simetidin, ranitidine) as an anti acid before take SN. But you know they are banned in some of countries for causing gynecomastia. Im curious about proton pump inhibitors can do this job or not? For example Pantactive (pantoprazol)
