Seems like I never had a chance...
She referred to me as buddy, very early on...
I don't think she had any romantic interest in me. Except for that day when we hung out and... there were these sparks....
But nothing more...
Sometimes I wonder if she was embarrassed to be seen with a subhuman like me....

I lost one more reason to live...
I kept running scenarios about how things could've played out differently...
Now even that's gone...
And now my heart is sinking deeper and deeper...
