Just curious really. I kind of admire people who participate in 'peaceful protests'. When they really believe in a cause that much that they're willing to give their time and energy for it. Plus, the risk factor- if it degrades into violence.
I haven't ever participated in one. Maybe the closest I got was wanting to protest against the Iraq war. I still didn't though. I actually hate crowds for one. The closest I get is signing petitions and donating here and there to causes that strike a chord.
How about you? Any protagonists or charity workers here? For what causes? I expect the majority of us support the right to die but again, I wonder if any of us actively campaign for it.
