• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have been struggling with this thing my entire left. My parents paid over 10k to help fix it but the results aren't guaranteed and it might not work at all.

The only thing stopping me from killing myself right now is because I can't bare the fact that I will leave my parents with so much pain.

How should I start preparing in advance to minimize the damage to my parents as much as poissble?

If you have five or ten years, you can perhaps ease them into it. Extended depressive spells, suicide attempts, psych ward visits, meds, therapy, all that crap. But no guarantee. They might still take it too hard.

I struggle with this too. But I don't have years, or even months. I try not to think about it too much. I hate this whole thing.

Honestly, that sounds worse than just losing a child out of nowhere. For parents who really love their children, it is terrible to see your child struggling in this way.

Ehh, many parents eventually become desensitized to it. They are human too.

So true my parents felt bad about it in the begining but they are now desensitized to me crying and saying I want to die all the time

I was thinking about doing that too. So you think eventually maybe over a course Ina year if I keep telling them that I'm going to end it all they will become desensitized to it?

Man, if you can hold out, wait until your parents pass first. That's the only thing keeping me here. I'd hate for them to find that I CTB while they were alive.

Maybe you can desensitize them. Maybe. This is just not a guarantee. But honestly it doesn't matter if they're used to you talking about wanting to die, because if you ctb it will hurt them. I know how common this line of thought is, and for good reason. We don't want to leave the people we love in pain. For many, it's why we're still here. But we have to accept the cold, hard truth that if we do this, we're going to hurt people like they have never hurt before. There's nothing that can prepare a parent for losing their child. I'm so sorry that you are suffering. It's noble to want to spare others the same, but unfortunately they will suffer in this. I'm sorry if this is rude or cold but I think it's better if we learn to accept these realities than try to fight or change them. I hope that you are able to find the peace you're looking for.

The cold hard truth is whatever you do will devastate them if you do it.
