im currently in college and have no real areas to tie a cord for a partial or full suspension, however i am going back to my family's home for thanksgiving break, and i do have a perfect tree for it outside said house, but very young kids live across the street and they go outside very often, atleast, they have before i went to college and when i saw them on breaks, i dont intend to traumatize children and would regardless prefer to ctb within the comfort of my home or a general living space than outside.

what are good things to even tie from?
ropes and cables dont hold up on shelves, and my doorknob seems too close to the floor, athough it may work, id like to know for sure before i try that one though. i dont want to suffer damage or lose my ability to walk without successfully catching the bus in the process. i do not want to do tests until i know its lethal.

i read the partial hanging thread a long while ago, i still have the general jist of it in my mind.

if theres any less painful options though, do let me know.

ive been stuck with hanging because im very afraid of firearms and ever since i tried poisoning myself and failing the attempt SN has been a horrifying thought i dont wish to even touch. partial hanging seemed like it would be best in regards to being as painless as possible. not to say it doesnt hurt ar all, im very certain it does, just not as bad as other methods. i did try poisioning myself with one or two things under my bathroom cabinet, but i threw it up and did survive that whole ordeal, and i dont ever want to even touch that idea again. it was horrible.

i just need to know where to hang from and how effective it would be

I think jumping and decapitation is not painful, I mean even if it's painful, it won't last long enough for one to regret his/her choice.

People say CTB by inert gas is peaceful, I haven't had time to research in that aspect, though.
