• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Basically the title. I am tired of living. Not a single positive thing has happened to me over the past year, and my depression has finally reached the point where I am numb enough to no longer fear death. Finding out my 13-year old dog is going to die today from acute kidney failure was enough to push me over the edge. I want to act on this impulse before it goes away and I lose the chance forever. I have access to 720mg of Adderall, but a simple google search tells me that this is nowhere near enough. At most, it would give me a bad headache.

Adderall being a controlled substance, I can't wait another 6 months to slowly collect enough for it to matter. I need to see results right away, while my SI is still strong. But I do have access to OTC multi-vitamins, and seeing as how they are not a controlled substance... that means I can basically buy as many of the 200 tablet bottles as I want.

So, my question is this: How many tablets would it take to produce a lethal effect? I did some brief research, and apparently calcium and iron are the most dangerous things in these pills to overdose on. Does anyone have an idea as to how much it would take of these substances to to kill an otherwise healthy 29 year old male? Preferably within a few hours, if possible. I'm willing to buy as many bottles and scarf down as many pills as needed. Whatever it takes to get the job done.

Also, would me going to a single store and buying dozens of these bottles set off any alarms? Will I get the cops called on me and a forced "wellness" check if I attempt to do this? Will I need to split up the purchases among multiple stores and locations to make it more discreet?

This seems highly experimental and I would not do it myself.
If it would be this easy, then a lot of people would have already tried it.
Pretty sure you just damage your body with it and feel sick after wards.

No. All that will happen is you throwing it all up and probably having permanent organ damage.

Any kind of OTC overdose is always going to be painful and drawn out if it even did work, and is far more likely to just make you sick for hours. The only kind of effective overdose are the drugs that are illegal and/or highly regulated.

There are a thousand posts just like this, I would recommend searching this site as nearly every method and nonmethod have been discussed. I don't say this to be rude but this is a popular topic and every time the answer is going to be no, it's not a viable method, and it's certainly not going to kill you in a few hours. There are many viable and accessible methods with all the information you need for them here, I would recommend further research.

Losing a pet is terrible. I had a dog of similar age who died from cancer. Carrying and burying her body was a depressing experience. But yeah, as others said, overdosing isn't a very reliable method.

Hmm, what about if I were to purchase iron-containing supplements specifically, do those exist? I'm just kind of desperate here. I don't have the pain tolerance to go through with a method like stabbing myself or such. And hanging is sadly also out of the question. Due to financial reasons, I am still living with my parents. And they watch me very closely due to my suicidal tendencies in the past. Overall, my day-to-day routine is very predictable.

They also control my finances, to some degree. I'm allowed to spend whatever I want so long as I help out with bills, but they have access to the bank statements and are always checking the mail early in the morning. So it's impossible for me to go out and buy something like a long length of rope without immediately being caught. I'm a very shut-in person who has not left the house a single time in over 8 months, and I don't have a car or driver's license.

As such, I am incapable of going out to purchase something without them being present and aware of it. So if I were to tell them I suddenly wanted to go to the department store to get some supplies... it would be very, very out of character for me and immediately raise red flags. And especially given the fact my dog died today they are going to be watching me even more closely. The multi-vitamin method thus seems like my only real option at this point, even if it's not a particularly good one. It's the only thing I think I could buy in front of them that wouldn't immediately make them realize what I was trying to do.

You're going to piss the multivitamins out before they build up in your system enough to come close to killing you. It's not possible to OD on anything OTC or psychiatric

You can't use cash?

Please just don't do that. It's not just a bad method...It isn't a method. The chances of dying from it are close to none. All you'd be doing is causing unneeded suffering to yourself and considering what you said about pain tolerance, you really don't want that. Overdosing on any OTC medication or vitamin or whatever is agonizing and is very unlikely to kill you. Even if it did it would be after days of agony.
Death by Flinstone vitamins would be awesome.

I understand that we are all going through something here and we are all wanting to ctb or are desperate to do so , but seriously… this thread is just so irrational and not thinking logically.

I don't even think the Adderall would kill you.

If you could kill yourself with multivitamins, why would people here be ordering SN?

I would not recommend this. Iron can theoretically kill you at like 250mg/kg (technically 60 mg/kg has been seen, but metabolism is different for everyone.)

However, the death will not be a good one.

You'll start off with severe GI symptoms, followed by a bit of recovery. Then, you'll get end organ failure. You won't be able to clot normally, your kidneys, liver, and heart will start to fail. Your body will also go into shock. If you survive through chelation therapy or phlebotomy, you may have caused severe permanent organ damage.

Please avoid this.

Extremely ineffective. You'd be in hospital from agonising pain before any chance of overdose making you CTB. Vitamin A is hepatotoxic in large doses so your liver would shut down. B6 in excess causes neurological and nerve problems. It would be too unpredictable and unreliable.

Vitamins:

  1. Vitamin A (Retinol):
    • Toxicity: Hypervitaminosis A can occur from excessive intake, leading to symptoms like nausea, dizziness, headaches, and in severe cases, liver damage, increased intracranial pressure, and even death.
    • Upper Limit: The tolerable upper intake level (UL) for adults is 3,000 micrograms (10,000 IU) per day.
  2. Vitamin D:
    • Toxicity: Excessive vitamin D can lead to hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), causing symptoms like nausea, vomiting, weakness, and in severe cases, kidney failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and death.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 4,000 IU (100 micrograms) per day.
  3. Vitamin E:
    • Toxicity: High doses can interfere with blood clotting, increasing the risk of hemorrhage.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 1,000 milligrams (1,500 IU) per day.
  4. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine):
    • Toxicity: Excessive intake can cause nerve damage, leading to symptoms like numbness, difficulty walking, and in severe cases, sensory neuropathy.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 100 milligrams per day.

Minerals:

  1. Iron:
    • Toxicity: Acute iron overdose can cause severe gastrointestinal distress, liver failure, and death. Chronic excessive intake can lead to organ damage.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 45 milligrams per day.
  2. Selenium:
    • Toxicity: Excessive selenium can cause selenosis, with symptoms like hair loss, nail brittleness, gastrointestinal disturbances, and in severe cases, neurological damage and death.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 400 micrograms per day.
  3. Zinc:
    • Toxicity: High doses can cause nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach cramps, diarrhea, and headaches. Chronic excessive intake can lead to immune dysfunction and copper deficiency.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 40 milligrams per day.
  4. Calcium:
    • Toxicity: Excessive calcium can lead to hypercalcemia, causing kidney stones, renal insufficiency, and vascular and tissue calcification.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 2,500 milligrams per day.
  5. Magnesium:
    • Toxicity: Excessive magnesium, especially from supplements, can cause diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramping, and in severe cases, cardiac arrest.
    • Upper Limit: The UL for adults is 350 milligrams per day from supplements.
