I tricked them somehow, idk. I've never had to make much of an effort to try to be friends with someone, people just seem to want to be my friend for some reason and they stay my friend too. I guess either they can look past it or they're too stupid to see how evil I am.

If I was, then I wouldn't be a 30 year old incel virgin and thus I wouldn't have any reason to be here on this website.

I think just being willing to admit how terrible and evil of a person I am seems to have backfired in warding people away and instead it draws them closer. That was never my intention but at least I got friends out of it I suppose. Too bad it doesn't work for obtaining romantic relationships.

Maybe 4.5. The 0.5 one was more of a work colleague really. But, none are all that close now. I haven't even seen them in maybe 5, 10, even 20 years! Depends how you define friendship really. People you care about and who vaguely care about you? But yeah, all long distance friendships now. Friendships hurt too much when you lose them. Sometimes I wonder if any of it is worth it but then, we can't really live that well entirely as islands. I don't seem to learn though. I still get attached to people. I suppose we're wired to do that though.

I don't know how to count in my situation, because I have a way more close and complex relationship with one person in my life, but taking them into consideration, I have 2 friends. I feel grateful for these amazing people, they showed me that they will always be there for me to help me in dire situations and offer their support. I also have a few other people in my life whom I could become closer friends with in the future.

My other relationships feel superficial at best, they don't usually contact me and I can't bring myself to contact them either, and when I do, it's often just short lived so it makes it hard for me to consider them friends

Do you ever try and force a friendship? I do. I try and skip from acquaintance to friend quickly.

I have two very close friends that i worry about a lot, I classify everyone else as mutuals/acquaintances. i hate socialising with people, and my two close friends are the only people in my life I completely trust. if something were to happen to them i think i'd kill myself in less than 48 hours.
