I can also testify that this test is a complete insult. I just got called slow from a screen that also occasionally tells me that there are sexy babes wanting to camchat with me.

I'll stick with my bic ballpoint pen and A4 white paper.

I used to be able to consistently get 150 wpm on typeracer and 10 fast fingers but my C key broke and I never really got a new keyboard, I just use a mouse macro to type the key lol.

Oh yeah and I almost beat Sean Wrona who some people consider the worlds fastest typist, but that was when he was super tired and I matched him like 10 times lol.

That's what I got using the mouse macro on my keyboard. Thankfully the quote was pretty easy and it didn't have that many C's.

During all my computers classes in high school I was accused of cheating in programs you can't copy and paste on because I was typing 140+ wpm. It's all those years of type-to-learn (kindergarten to 8th grade)

140+? Strange, there's a lot more people than I thought here with 120+ speeds. Or maybe it's just the vocal minority who post in this thread.
What's your average now and best DrownedOctopus? 140 is really good, after 120 you kind of stop being able to improve much lol.

I type a lot everyday so it's still in that general speed. Probably not quite that fast anymore though. For a while my dad had me help him with his work because his fingers couldn't type fast enough for his thought process, so he'd talk out loud while I typed it out for him. Missed my calling as a stenographer, I guess lol

i got 102 and 1 error at Aesops fables
if you train the text some times it's easy to reach a higher type rate so tests with always the same texts don't mean very much. but it's always fun to check by time, on another test some months ago i reached about 120-130wps. i like the ones more where you have to correct typing mistakes as you won't just let them be in RL too

i'm typing with my two index fingers, never used that 10-finger-system. guess it's more comfortable but i'm too lazy to learn lol

next challenge: how many guitar riffs can you play per second? go make videos. i can't play guitar but it's fun to watch :P
