Help How to ask about n

hi, I've been asked by a few people to check on the availability of N here in Thailand. I said that I'd be happy to do so. I've made it clear that I won't procure it for anyone, and, for the record "I will always abide by all the laws of Thailand!" That's out the way, I thought I'd ask for guidance on who and how to ask? I don't want to raise any suspicions, it's not even my method, but I don't want to ask the wrong kind of question or ask in such a way that I end up committed. So if anyone has any suggestions for how I should proceed, I'd appreciate your feedback. My understanding is that this is usually something kept at a veterinarian's clinic. IS that right? Any suggestions for how I should approach this will be welcome. I'm happy to find out whatever I can learn about its present availability.

Ask if you can buy it to put your 200lb dog down at home, hes too sick to travel to vet, if they try to schedule it, tell them u will call later

I don't know how the system is in Thailand. In Peru there are clinics which have N for their own use and veterinary pharmacies which sell it to private people. I don't know such pharmacies in Western Europe.
The product name of N maybe different in Thailand.

If you're not planning on procuring it for anyone, even for yourself, you could potentially be taking a great risk here. Going to vet clinics and asking for N is likely to arouse great suspicion about you and l would consider it unlikely that anyone will affirm that they are willing to trade without you putting your money where your mouth is, as it were.

Whilst embarking on a risky fact-finding mission for the ctb community is commendable and courageous, isn't it perhaps too great a personal risk for so little personal reward?

Thanks for that thoughtful reply. I think the answer to your question is indeed "yes" - that's probably too great a personal risk for me. I really have no clear sense of how strictly things are monitored here, but I can say that the arbitrary exercise of power around here is frightening. I live a long way from a "bill of rights" regime! So I think I'll be taking your advice and backing out of my earlier offer to investigate this. I appreciate you taking the time to offer your insight. thanks
