Help How to get rid of survival instinct during partial suspension

I tried partial hanging today and several times going to pass out but I stood up immediately when I know my vision is turning blurry.

What should I do to get rid of survival instinct during partial suspension? How I wish I have N with me..

Good question.. Try to fight the instinct, have a few drinks/beers, not sure, since we all are different, some goes through with it with ease...

Thanks for your reply. I only drink hard liquor and I'm afraid I will puke if drink too much. It's not easy to knock me out but I vomit easily due to stomach irritability..

I have that same problem. The vision goes blurry, body shakes, I feel like going all black and then I abort. Once you go unconscious, the entire body weight will pull on the rope and knowing that while going unconscious and having to face losing control of your limbs is too scary to go through. If you take a lot alcohol, you will begin to vomit. I don't have access to alcohol so I drank an entire bottle of sorbitol cyprohaptadine syrup. It made me extremely sleepy and dizzy after around 20minutes. Still, the survival instinct didn't let me do it. I have been experimenting with ligature strangulation for the last two/three days and have found that it works and it is easier to overcome the survival instinct in it(at least for me) as no body weight is involved. You have complete control of everything in it. If you are interested in it, then read the thread I posted yesterday on ligature strangulation.

I think it's best for some alcohol and when you are 100 percent ready I think the survival instinct will be less.....just my thought, could be wrong though

Make sure to eat a lot of pasta or bread then drink alcohol, it'll slow the sick feeling

I want you guys to open the link I posted above and read through it. Try it yourself. Then give some suggestions on how to improve it. It works but not as good as partial suspension. If only you could give some advice on how to make it better. I would appreciate it.

I'm worse that you (OP) and didnt have the guts to fully tighten it for more 3 seconds. At least you got to nearly blacking out :) I didnt even get that far.

But I have to keep adjusting and putting pressure at the right spot. It takes some time to get it right. But it always my survival instinct creeping up once my vision starts getting blurry..can never get it done properly.

For me it's the rope breaking before I am dead or I think it would hurt like hell because I am a bug guy.....it's scary don't want to feel pain.

If you do a only a short drop it shouldn´t heard i´ve read, i´ve you do a longer drop, but not long enough to break your neck, it will hurt. But only stepping of a chair is the perfect drop

Listening to music thru headphones and dissociating while doing it helps me but everyone is different etc.

If you constrict the windpipe, breathing hurts like a sob. Those rasping breaths still haunt me today.

Fear. I never kicked the stool away so in a panic I managed to get back on it. Hanging isn't complicated. Fear however, is.
