I wanted to say that I'm very happy that there's a place where people can talk about CTB without either being shamed, invalidated, or dismissed with the same overused, robotic, and disingenuous "it gets better" or "it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem" garbage people who have a reason to be here. People who don't care about you until you are ready to die or are dead. People who will use your death on social media for clout and sympathy to fill a void in their empty lives. Not an ounce of genuity inside them.
Having been in psych hospitals (and even worked in one), I've figured out that our mental health field more or less looks down on people with mental illness (funny considering that allegedly they're supposed to cure us). They care more about drugging people up and getting people addicted to medicine than actually helping people.
I do need help, and I did want to do something with my life, but realizing that I'll never get the help I need, and I'm surrounded by people I don't belong with, I know I'm destined for unhappiness and misery the rest of my life. I might as well die while I'm young before I lose physical autonomy.
