It's always the same bullshit. It's just people going 'nooooooo dont kill yourself, awww nooo cmon stoooop you have so much to live foooorrrrrrr!'. They never actually say anything meaningful. This world has been fucked up beyond repair, now I see that I don't have any way out of my misery other than ctb. 'You have so much to live for' no I don't that's exactly the fucking problem so maybe you could help me find something to live for instead of gaslighting me into thinking that exerything is fine. It's all entirely superficial.

People should stay alive as long as they can to see if things get better. If things don't change at some point then definitely they have the right to take their life if they want to. I also don't think suicide is something to be done impulsively or quickly. But it should be a reasonably slow decision.

Also, you can be blessed with a lot of things and still suffer from a multitude of issues which leave you unhappy. So yeah, superficial things don't count.

Also, no one gets to tell others to commit or to refrain imo, always the individual's choice.

HAHAHHA the img is a good description of suicide "prevention'
Well pretty much any suicide prevention can only be done while knowing the person and if the person even want supports and has some hopes to live but most people dont/doesnt want to understand that sometimes u just have to accept someones suicide and there cant be anything done.
Much love 🤗

finding somehing to live for is brave. fufillment finds purpose. easier said than done I know I've had mental health probelms for over a decade and im 22. what's got me this far is connection with others who actually mean good which again is rare

It's funny to me that all of the people who say the "noooo you have so much to live for" line are acqaintances who barely even know me. If they did, then they would know that I have no future to speak of. Funnily enough, there was a lady whom I met a year ago and she refused to believe that my life was over. She wasn't mean about it though so we actually ended up hanging out once a fortnight (she had an "I can fix her" mindset) for almost a year afterwards and, in the end, she gave up on me two months ago. She told me that she now understood why I was suicidal and the last thing she told me was "I wouldn't last even an hour inside your head" - I just laughed out loud and we stopped contacting each other.

Even worse are the people who go "noooooo think about your family, killing yourself will hurt them noooo" but, once again, these people are acqaintances who aren't even aware of the fact that I don't have a family to hurt.

Yeah I absolutely get infuriated whenever I hear the subject come up or whenever things in public talk about "CTB prevention" like it's some sort of crusade to keep all sentient beings (including those who despise sentience and want out badly) trapped in existence against one's will. Also, yeah there was a reddit thread that summed up my sentiments pretty accurately.
