• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I know what I need to do to get my life in order, I mean, I think so, but I cannot turn it into action in any way. and it's rotting me from the inside.
I am currently working in a job where I work 1 day fully and 2 days not working. When I work at work, I say I will take action on my days off, but again I do nothing. my days are completely empty and I make no progress, I am still in the same place. it's killing me not to make any progress.
Have any of you experienced this situation and solved it.

I struggle with this but I don't think I ever really solved it. I can say that the times I have been more productive and making progress have been when I reward myself. Starting small like I'm going to make that doctors appointment and then play a quest in a video game I like. Then do another task and another quest and keep going like that. It works for me for at least getting a couple things done instead of nothing. If that's the kind of things you're talking about anyways. Bigger things I have to break down into smaller parts otherwise they're absolutely overwhelming to me. I know I have a lot of trouble just getting out of bed most days so doing things is a struggle.

I hope you make the progress you want to change things. Good luck.

Same, I'm too depressed to do anything and have no energy at all.

I think the horrible reality of working, especially if our jobs make us miserable is that on our days off, we're simply recovering physically, emotionally and psychologically in order to do it all again. Plus, catching up on laundry and other domestic shit.

But yes, I've made a few U-turns in life. Resigned from a number of jobs. Sometimes with something ready to move on to but, sometimes not. I once just suddenly quit a job with nothing else prepared. That was pretty terrifying but, it pushed me in a big way to get something else, which I fortunately did. I think you have to give yourself a proviso if you do something as risky as that- that you won't just rest on your laurels, you'll put the time and energy into finding something new.

Ideally though, it's obviously much better to have something lined up to move on to. With a couple of days off at a time, that's great- especially if some of them are weekdays- for possible interviews etc. Ultimately though, I think you have to push yourself. If you know you're not happy and you know you want things to change, you're the only one that can try to bring that about. Even if it's just small steps at a time. A quick job search, updating your CV, applying somewhere.

Good luck. I hope you find something quickly.

This! We simply try to rejuvenate for another work week!

I'm no expert but to me there's 2 ways to deal with our issues:
1) do nothing & worry about it or
2) do something about the issues.
I hope you're able to sort through your situation & make it better🤗🌹💔
