  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

i have AuDHD and i smoke weed every day, it helps me focus when i have to do monotonous tasks and i can only enjoy food and sleep properly when i smoked weed before. it helps me socialize and also enhances experiencing art and music, which is very important to me (for stimming for example). unfortunately i have developed such a high tolerance that it doesn't have the effect it used to have anymore. i want to take a break to loose my tolerance but i can't bring myself to do it sice i know how uncomfortable it will be for me. i thought about taking codeine (or other opioids because codeine is so fucking expensive here) instead in my tolerancebreak but even though i took opioids many times i'm scared i might get addicted if i start taking it regularly. can smn give me advice on how to stop smoking weed or at least loose my tolerance? or has any ideas for a downer that is suitable for everyday use to take instead?

I feel you brother. I switched to alcohol for a while when I was off weed that helped. You can try working out or martial arts so that you'll be forced to take a break from it. Don't switch to opioids it'll make you want weed from my experience. Try sober raving if you're into that stuff

yess this is just another reason why the opioids thing wouldn't work for me, i can't keep my hands off weed when i'm on opioids. alcohol just isn't really my thing, i have many alcoholics in my orbit and even though i love most of them very much, alcohol kind of disgusts me because of that. the material arts is a really good idea tho, i always wanted to create art but most of the time i couldn't motivate myself to create the things i had in mind, maybe that will even be easier for me when i'm of the weed for a while. tyvm ^^

I've been trying to smoke less weed. I also have I high tolerance.

I was an alcoholic for years, but i don't drink no more. My body refuses alcohol. It's strange.

Working out can be a really good habbit. I try to do it everyday lately.

On days that i suffer to much I just pop some pills and try to sleep early in the evening. Quetiapine/Seroquel and Dominal/Prothipendyl.

I also use Bromazepam (benzodiazepine) 2*12 mg a day and deanxit (melitracen/flupentixol)

Antipsychotic medication can help.

I also smoke weed everyday... Didn't smoke it last night or yet today cuz my depression has gotten bad enough that I strangely have no more desire to smoke, though I can't say I recommend that as a way to smoke less, lol.

thank you for ur reply ^^ working out isn't really my thing but i think i understand what you mean, having a hobby as a distraction could be very useful. my gf has melperone and promethazine prescribed, i think i'll try taking those for sleeping.

i'm sorry to hear that, i think i know what you mean, sometimes when i feel like very empty inside i don't feel the desire to do anything, not even smoke weed. i hope you will feel better soon <3
