• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

So most religions reckon that whomever created this world/ universe claim that life is precious and sacrosanct.
But really the whole engine that drives this world as proven by science is evolution.

Evolution is a bloody engine that brutally churns up all the lifeforms that are not well adapted. In order for evolution to occur and for species to develop some individuals in the species must be at an advantage and therefore others are at a disadvantage.

So as I see it this whole engine of the weakest either get culled or don't reproduce well so the species can develop and advance.

So I can only conclude that whomever made this place doesn't care about there being individuals being culled, either by their own hands, the environment, other species or members of their own species or else they wouldn't have put the system in place in the first place or would have changed it. Without this culling evolution couldn't work.

For instance the peacock family. Male peacocks have enormous display feathers. There were probably peacocks that had even bigger feathers than average but the feathers would have been a liability from escaping predators. So the males with the bigger feathers got culled and the feathers tend to remain within a certain range. Individuals born with feathers outside the parameters (too small and they won't attract females, too big and they get eaten by a wild cat) either get culled or don't have babies. And whomever is in charge of this world hasn't changed this so I assume they must be happy about it.

Edit: homo sapiens wasn't the only homo race to evolve but there are no others around so I assume here that the other homo species were wiped out too either by environmental factors or by our ancestors rampaging around killing them. Whomever is in charge doesn't seem to care that happened either.

99% suffer so the 1% can thrive. It's how it is in society and it's how it is in nature too and for what ultimately?

God doesn't seem to interfere in this world, like nature it's survival of the fittest. The millions of different types of animals all killing each other to eat, humans that are of different colors and language, it's a horrid game of the strong preying upon the weak and different, I think it's (god) is completely indifferent to us, does not care anymore than we care about the moral decisions of an ant.

I have theorized a lot about God and His creations. It is no surprise to anyone that the world is loaded with suffering, disgrace, sadness, etc. Terrible things happen in an every day basis, and in most cases, the terrible things are caused by us humans.

The first thing I wondered about was... If God created humans to be similar to Him, doesn't that mean that God is also made of good and bad things, not only good things? If we are like Him, then it is likely that God has similar traits as humans, even if more "advanced" or "sacred" in some ways. Also, can you really call a God "good" when He created humans? Sure, humans evolved from other things, but by definition, God is omniscient. Before the creation of the first thing, He already knew that at some points, humans would exist, and all that bad things our species would do the world and other living beings. Yet, He did nothing to prevent that. Is this God truly a good-aligned being?

Then I wondered... What if there isn't one God, but various Gods... What if Christianity got it wrong, and other religions/teachings such as those you find in Asian, African countries or even in Greek mythology* got it right and there are numerous deities and not only one? So what if some people or some things that exist are created by one God, while other things are created by another God? Wouldn't that be an interesting attempt at explaining the discrepancy in quality of said things (like life quality, for ex)? Maybe there are some good-aligned deities who do whatever they can to make sure their creations have a good time, while others just don't care... Some write good stories for their people/characters, others just want to watch the world burn.

*Does it bother anyone else that the beliefs Greek people had in the past are considered myths, but the stuff in the Bible isn't? What is the difference?

Or lastly (but not least, and definitely not the last of my theories, I just don't want to bore people to death with a gigantic post)... What if God is simply a sadist? Just like a little kid who enjoys pulling out the legs of insects, burning them alive, etc? Just like that kid in Toy Story 1 who enjoys blowing up toys? What if God is just really childish?

I think evolution by itself doesn't prove the non existence of God or gods. My biggest issue with the existence of deities isn't explaining how they exist... My problem is accepting that such deities are good and want good things for living beings. I just don't see it. Either deities/gods are evil as shit, or they don't have any control over their creations (which would make me question whether the term "God" is a good fit for them).

there are many people who are polytheist, you might find it interesting reading or talking to them.

Sigh if there is a God, from a human point of view, he /they are A mad scientist. He decided to create people and then caused incidents to happen (i.e. giving one tribe a lake and not the other and not expecting a fight ) nd then the people who don't follow his guide lines get destroyed/punished nobody is responsible for anything. plus chaos theory. no one chooses to be good or bad, but a combination of needs and environment dictate how ppl follow rules post more in a bit have 2 take a test
