  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

i lost my job due to covid and ive been living on savings since then, but now theyre about to run out and i need to look into getting a job. my last job was somewhat abusive and made me hate my life even more, and i relapsed self harm a few times during which i haven't done in years. now im realizing that ive felt that way about literally every job ive had. even just looking for one makes me panic and im worried that once i get one im just gonna relapse or worse. not to mention that the industry that i went to school for has basically collapsed due to covid and wont recover for probably a while. why do i have to live in a country with such shitty workplace environments and workers rights? what can i do to cope with these things

I can relate, working has become a nightmare, slave-like labour with a high chance to be laid off. Fuck work!

I qualified for disability in the states due to being bipolar and not being able to stay out of the mental hospital.

my mental health, while shitty, has improved without work. I miss the structure work gave, but I know how you feel. I couldn't handle working.

All jobs are the theft of your autonomy. You're forced to "sell" your autonomy to the highest bidder under the threat of coercion. You're forced to "submit" to an artificial hierarchy that has no basis in goodness or kindness or honesty. It's impossible to be happy in that situation. It's impossible to be happy when you aren't free to come and go as you please, to eat when you please, or otherwise make your own autonomous choices the way every other creature on this earth has the God-given right to do. I hate when people say, "Be thankful to have a job." No. Be thankful when the whole of society collapses under its own deadened weight and people finally have the chance to regain the autonomy they were always meant to live with.

That is the problem with people like us: we don't have the ability to counteract it!
And everyone else indeed do have it, which makes it even more frustrating for us.

For us it is HELL, for them it is another pleasant day on HEAVENLY Earth.
