Venting I got my covid vaccine yesterday, now I feel like shit.

I really didn't expect the side effects to be this bad, but here I am. I got the J&J one dose vaccine yesterday. Later into the day a headache appeared and was getting worse. By the time I went to bed, the headache was making it hard to sleep. I did manage to get some sleep but it was most uncomfortable sleep I've had in a long time. When I woke up, I had a fever and my muscles ached like hell, especially my back. Now I'm absolutely miserable and I can't move around without my muscles screaming for me to stop.

This sucks.

Weirdly enough, all of it is listed on the sheet I was given about the side effects. It says that it varies in severity, so I guess I rolled unlucky this time. They gave me a website to post side effects but the website is down. Just my luck, I guess.

I've mainly heard bad stories about the AstraZeneca (and a few Pfizer)one and have been told by many people not to take that one...of course it's all of them that would be a little screwy

I really don't wanna get this vaccine. I hope I can escape from it somehow.

I got the Moderna a few days ago and developed a raised, red patch around the injection site. It's mildly warm to the touch. Doesn't really hurt. I'm going to ask my doctor about it, but I read that it's not a big deal.

My dad and mom got the vaccine and they felt like shit as well. My dad overcame it in a day or two and my mom in a week. Still waiting on my chip- I mean shot.
