  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I never do too well in public places by myself. Lately, I have been going to the library and walking around the store by myself. I feel pretty proud of myself. I think I am going to try to go on the public bus and go inside a gas station by myself next.

I was like you in my teens, maybe this could be "social anxiety" I was diagnosed with this disorder. But I decided to do the same as you, go out into the city, go out with some friends, take the bus. I won't say I'm 100% cured, but I'm 80% better. But we who are introverts will never reach 100%, I hope so, of course. But the improvement is really liberating, keep it up, you're doing great buddy.

I always found when I was on vacation and "wanted" to do things helped way more than when it felt forced.

I recently attended a rave in May with 100,000+ attendees daily and had really no issue with it but take me to a grocery store and I'm dizzy and anxious as all hell.

I find that once I have good days out it does make the next few a bit easier but I always seem to fall back into the loop of hating the outdoors which bothers me tbh. I used to love going out when I was a teen and doing anything now unless I'm drunk or at like a really fun event I'm scared to be outside at all.

I dare you to buy an onion! I swear probably the word experience I've ever had was not being able to figure out how to scan an onion at a self-checkout, and having to get customer service to add it to the cart. It didn't have a regular barcode on it so I didn't know what to do!

Anyways, I never wanted to go to that store again, but I made myself go back and get more stuff, and you should do the same if you have bad experiences like that! It's a good way to learn and probably get better at that kind of thing.

So, it sounds like you're doing well. Keep up the good work!

This is awesome, I'm so proud of you! I don't struggle as much as I used to, but I'm definitely not taking a leisurely stroll through the store. My heart will be pounding, but we'll get better together. Wishing you luck ❣️
