• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I am a big Ghost in the Shell fan. I watched most movies (not the one with real actors) and the TV series a couple of times. I loved it. In the TV series Gits Stand Alone Complex I think season two there are so many J.D. Salinger references. I want to dive deep into that.

I bought The Catcher in the Rye and Nine Stories. Are they worth spending time on. (stupid question, it probably depends on my preferences lol)

Actually I consider to kill myself after reading David Foster Wallace's The Broom in the Systen and Infinite Jest. After finishing these two books I read almost all DFW stories. The stories are often deep and philosophical. And I search for such stories. I am not sure how much time I will need for Infinite Jest. It has 1500 pages.
