He was not a physical or sexual abuser.
But as a NEET his live revolved around playing Mario games online, and getting into abusive spats with other players. For more info on the nature of his abuse see here: https://smscommunity.notion.site/Ban-of-Shoutplenty-92f79d143a1d41c4a208748fad5bcd7c
But more importantly, he was a frequenter of SS and recently CTBed. As a lonely, depressed and mentally ill NEET this was not surprising, but it was sad.
I am happy he is at peace, but, despite his abusiveness, he was one of the most profound and impactful people on my entire life. He was supremely intelligent, talented at many things, was top of his class at school and had gone to a world leading university. On top of that he was also kind, empathetic and always interested in forming bonds with others (before mental illness warped him into an abuser)
Towards the end of the abusers life I tried to persuade him to stop abusing people, but his reaction was to only end up abusing me instead. I wish I had spent the last part of his life telling him how much I loved him, how amazing a friend he had been throughout the years, and how I'd have done anything for him. I regret not focussing on the positives and ending on bad terms and being critical with him. Rest in peace my dear
Some of you may know him. He was a keen member of the super mario sunshine speedrunning community before he got banned. If you do then please feel free to reach out I would be happy to chat
