• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Switzerland is the only country on Earth that allows for non residents with mental illness to seek life ending care. I do not have access to a method that is both 100% effective and painless. Maybe I could use this money to "fix" my life, but the truth is that I no longer wish to participate in a world I didn't consent to being in. I'm tired of being told that I need to carve out my own space of joy. I don't want a small space of joy. I want the world to stop being shit but everyone is too stupid to see that 99% of human suffering is man made and I'm tired of people being complacent with it. I'm tired of having no power and I just don't want to participate anymore.

Don't think it's selfish. It's your money, your life, you don't have a responsibility to anyone except yourself.

If I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat. Good luck to you with whatever you decide.

I don't think you'd be selfish. But it's very difficult to get approved for mental illness. It takes a lot of medical records and proof of trying everything you can before they would approve you.

Good to know. Would you consider financing others' trips and procedures or is the rest of the money already spoken for? Would you consider paying to have another Sarco manufactured? If it sat in international waters, perhaps no country could exercise jurisdiction over those who assisted?

Its unfortunately not a whole lot of money. Choosing to do this will eat up the entire sum. The procedure can cost $7,000 USD on top of travel and lodging during the 6 month waiting period.

I think it's way too much money to do something you can do yourself, with a 10$ rope.
I think the money can be used in better ways, and if you have any hope left I think it makes sense to try.

Yes I agree - for mental illness it's difficult. The Swiss organizations (including Pegasos) are skittish because of the Swiss laws. My impression is they like to see a good history of trying to manage/improve your mental health issues. Not that you have to try absolutely everything (like "shock treatment") but they want to see a sincere effort. There's no hard rules, but from what I've seen if you under 30 years old it's going to be very hard, but if you're over 50 that's when you have a good shot.

I would definitely qualify. I am 55 and tried everything including shock treatments. I'm not the OP but at least I have this option. It is just so far away. I live in the US. Also it cost like 11k .

Unfortunately it's a misconception that you can seek help from Exit or others in Switzerland for mental illness.
Assisted suicide is legal here yes, but not euthanasia which is where this would fall under.
You can only get approved if you suffer from a physical illness that has been proven to be terminal within a certain amount of time.

So I'm just screwed either way? How am I supposed to access life ending drugs? I don't want to be found dangling or bloody. I don't want to be the source of someone else's trauma. I hate this planet. Why am I forced to be here? Its so stupid.

I wouldn't think twice, to Switzerland I'd go! I was reading the comments, is this a guarantee? Someone said it takes 6 months. Where is Dr. Kavorkian when we need him? I would think there would be a Dr on the black market assisting us to go.

Which of those orgs has this 6-month waiting period? Don't recall reading about it on either Dignitas or Pegasos website...

I just read that it's standard procedure to make sure the person absolutely wants this for a lot of organizations. It sounds like it doesn't matter, though. There is no way to escape this planet without it being messy or bloody or traumatic. Suicide will always be the equivalent of a coat hanger abortion. Idk why I thought I could be different.

Why do you say that @CrystalHarmony1 ? If you have the Swiss option, it will not be messy, as long as you are sure you want this. It is a gentle and dignified exit imo

Other people are saying it is not a feasible method, sadly. Even with money.
