• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am planning on ctb in a few months, once I end my semester.

When I think about it , it does scare me sometimes.
But what helps me is to remember two things.
1 ) I would have died eventually anyway.
2 ) I am not the only one who is going to die. Everyone else is going to die eventually too.

This is an interesting way to look at life.
And it's true - we are all going to die eventually, some quicker than others. But we are all just conscious bags of flesh walking around destroying the earth so what's the point anyway?

If someone is actually enjoying their life, than they might as well continue to enjoy it.

But I really don't enjoy my life, on the contrary my life is just an endless stream of bad feelings and emotions and stress and worry.
So what's the point of contiuing this torture?.

I feel the exact same way. Here are two quotes that I saved on my phone so I can look at them whenever life becomes unbearable:

"Go for a quiet stroll in the local cemetery. A reminder that no matter how overwhelming our anxieties might be, it will soon be resolved when we're dead and buried for all eternity."

"Soon you will have forgotten all things, and soon all things will have forgotten you."

Our thoughts and emotions give us the illusion that any of all this matters. Yes, life has its bright sides, and there many things I would like to do before I hang myself. It fills me with deep sadness when I think about all the wrong turns I have taken in life that have led me to this point. But then I remind myself that only the living feel pain – the pain of losing someone you love, the pain of unfulfilled longings, the sharp pain of regret. None of this matters to the dead. I can't imagine anything more comforting than eternal sleep.
