An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I sat beside a girl in class yesterday and mustered my courage to ask to add her on social media. To my surprise she agreed and we messaged each other for the latter half of the lecture. I know this will probably lead to nothing, but I made progress and this experience boosted my confidence.

Bravo! Great start! Keep that positive attitude. Do remember that there are always the assholes out there who will not react the way this young lady did, but you don't want them in your life anyway. You deserve the best of friends - true friends who care about you. You should be very proud of yourself!

OUTSTANDING!!! I am like @Sherri as far as happy love stories, as there is too much grief and unhappiness in this world. It it's so refreshing to read something so awesome and heartwarming.
I wish the ultimate the best for you and your new social media friend. Life is way too short not to experience it with someone watching a lovely sunset over the ocean.
All my best to you, my friend.
Walter

Do you expect something specific from this? My advice to all kinds of relationships is to approach people without any kind of expectations and just try to live good moments together. I don't think anyone likes to talk to someone who expects something in return.
By the way, you did great

Nice job, brother. Now make a joke about the teacher during the lecture to make her laugh.
I myself still feel somewhat nervous around pretty girls (that I know are queer) and very seldom approach them without feigning a practical reason (like asking them a question), so the fact you actually asked to add her on social media is pretty bold by comparison. Big props to you.
