  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

The main reason I hate society is its attitude towards suicide and euthanasia. Why we do not have the right to dispose of our own body and our lives as we want? Why, having mental disorders, do I not have the right to end my miserable, meaningless existence? Because of money? - What money do they hope to get from the unemployed mentally ill? If they want money so much, in exchange for N they can take all my money and all my property, let them choke. I do not ask anything from society and it can do whatever it wants - just leave me alone, I can't and don't want to play agent 007 and a cryptohacker just to order N.

Even when you're "unemployable" they are still making money off of you. Think of all the people whose line of employment is working with people who can't work (doctors and people in the medical field, people who work at unemployment/disability offices, etc). Being ill is a full time job and other people are making money off of you even if you don't work.

Yes and it is worse and more disgusting than slavery. In such a system, death is liberation and a gift. This society is obsessed with money and the satisfaction of animal instincts to a state of inadequacy.

The cause of the problem is biological and genetic, this is the basis. But I see a way out in robotization and augmentation, in the symbiosis of man and machine, computers. The problem is in the human body.

I always dreamed of having an artificial cybernetic body and someday it will be possible (but not for me, of course).

Replacing the destructive traits of humans with machines. I don't see why not. We couldn't end up any worse than we already are.

There are also suggestions that cybernetic implants and other similar devices will be able to completely cure many mental disorders (including schizophrenia) - not just to suppress symptoms like drugs, but to get rid of these diseases. Thanks to them, maybe it will be possible to completely get rid of depression and the inability to enjoy something. I read that they tried to conduct similar experiments and the results were very encouraging and unexpected.

I'm afraid to even imagine how much money such devices will cost. And they will probably be banned by law under various pretexts for the care of our security and other similar nonsense since slaves must be weak and dependent on their masters.

illustrative example with gene editing - is what they are especially afraid of.

By the time such device comes out I think it'll be too late to turn my life around with that thing...
