  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I want to go to a therapist and get my mind right. I am just afraid of going and being honest. To be branded the way they do when you go and be honest is well frightening. The way the system responds to someone who is trying to get help is what prevents me from going.

To me, it was a relief to get a diagnosis, because then I knew what was and still is wrong with me, and it made it possible to get the right treatment and for me to treat myself. That might just be me, though.

Seeing a therapist can help people so if you feel inclined, it's worth a shot. I'd see a psychologist. They are better with therapy and diagnosis. Just don't talk about how you want to cbt, depending on where you are, they might put you a ward.

For me it was a complete joke. I went since my parents were worried (which they wouldn't have been if I wasn't "on them pills" in the first place). I tried two or three the rapists. They just try to get you to make some arbitrary goal up and then tell you to take walks, at best. At worst they just "hang out" with you for fifty bucks an hour. I never had any problem telling them about all of my "deep psychological problems" within the first minute lol. I always made sure to lie about not having any specific plans when it came to suicide and similar activities.

It's also advisable not to approach them in a threatening manner. I don't know what their problem is, I can't help the way I walk.
