This probably isn't the right place to vent about this but I can't sleep. I'm so worried about "her" and I don't even know who she is.
Where I work it echoes. It's surrounded by main roads and train tracks.
When I left work yesterday I could hear a woman screaming. At first I thought it was just people in a car messing around. I soon realised it was not. It was a woman screaming it didn't last very long probably not even a minute. I heard the word "stop" in the midst of the screams. You know when you just have a sick feeling something bad is going on? I got that feeling. But I was with my mum and she didnt seem to feel the same thing as I was. I didn't know what to do so I did nothing. I couldn't exactly call 999 when I had no information other than a few screams. (My sister actually got fined for calling for something she thought was serious) since then It's been on my mind. I've hoped that someone else who knew more information reported it. I keep checking facebook. About 30 minutes ago I saw a post from earlier in the day asking if anyone had heard a woman screaming at around 3/4am. People in the comments said it was probably a fox but the poster said the woman was screaming "concerning things". A coincidence that 2 people heard a woman screaming 20ish hours apart and a couple miles apart? I don't know. But I will never forgive myself if something happens to her. I hope she is safe.
