• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I like to imagine that if I had something after this, I would have had the opportunity to be born into a loving, financially stable family in a first world country. Since my suffering is a byproduct of the conditions inherent in MY life, if I started everything in a good place, I wouldn't be like this, I would be free. And I wouldn't mind being born again. But I was unlucky to be born where I was born and to have gone through what I went through. Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about it. I wouldn't see existence as a hindrance. What about you? Would you mind being born again in better conditions?

worst nightmare. coming back to this clown planet. maybe as a pet to be abused in little cages and slaughter. even as another human soo many poor people in poor countries. chances would be low to be in a wealthy country anyway probably reborn in india or china when your wealthy life can be good but then others have to serve you and their life sucks. either way someone has to pay and suffer. shit planet makes no sense and never will. I never wanna see it or anything that resembles life once this sad excuse of existence is over.

I actually like the idea of reincarnation, I just fucked up my life beyond repair. However, I'm a bit worried about coming back as a child of the apocalypse. If something doesn't change soon, there are predictions of societal collapse in >100 years. In general, a totally random "reroll" would also put you in a poor country again since those countries tend to have higher populations. So that's not great, unless you get to be middle+ class in one of those countries and also don't have any mental problems and also your parents aren't abusive in any way.

It would be nice to be reborn into a society whose problems are already solved. For example, if sapient aliens exist and their society has already bypassed all of the primitive bullshit.

Reincarnation is my biggest nightmare. In my theory, the possibility of living a subsequent life in an infinite cycle is based on many clues that make sense; if you were born once, there is a high probability that this fact will happen again, but the problem is that it will be a new consciousness assigned randomly, which means that you have to include animal life forms, or at least as a human being in shitty places, in absolute poverty or in situations of extreme abuse.

I would love to be reincarnated. But well, I don't end up having brain damage from birth or disability. And I would love to take some of my memories or ideas to the next life.

What? If you were born once that doesn't mean that there is suddenly a high probability that you'll be reborn again. Also, consciousness stems from the brain. Hence why things impacting the brain, such as drugs or TBIs, can lead to changes in consciousness. I think it's significantly more likely that you die and that's it.

I'm glad reincarnation is not real.

Suffering or pain can be so unbearable it's a trillion times worse than can be imagined

Why would anyone believe that or want that kind of suffering and torture?

non-existence forever is the only guarantee of never suffering extremely

think of the people in the world having the top worst 10 lives right now , how bad is that? why would anyone want to risk such suffering? it's possible . every human's brain is capable of such extreme torture. those that haven't suffered so unbelieably unbearably have only been lucky so far.

A human is just a brain, cells, chemical reactions, a machine , a bug .... Massive evidence for this and none for any soul

Everything breaks down and requires a constant energy source but they tell us a human really doesn't break down nor needs an energy source which contradicts the law of entropy

Where is the energy source for a soul?

I would definitely love a second chance at life. Maybe as a cis woman, maybe as a trans woman who skips male puberty this time.

But I'm also very okay with there being nothing after this. Nothing would be a lot better than having to exist in my body.

My biggest fear is the fact that I might be born again. (Not even necessarily in a reincarnation way either.) It scares me the fucking most.
