  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

this is for mostly guys, since im a guy and its sort of the mindset I can relate to, but girls can definitly also benefit.

this is sort of a message to people who are physacally well and can actually do things, I WISH i were you right now, even though you might not believe it, there is so much you can do right now even though it might seem futile, if youre a guy for example, lifting weights can boost your confidence so freaking much, half hour a day is more than enough, keep it consitant, 30 min everyday make it a habit, thats what it is about, everything will change, including your face. eat healthy! 90 % of serotonine is produced in the gut, your mood stabalizer hormone, stay away from shit, its addicting and while make you feel shit, you DONT NEED SUGAR, its cheap to eat healthy cause you need to eat less to feel full and satisfied, veggies and meat is a lot better for the wallet, sugar will leave you wanting more and more. baby step into it, start by cutting crap, eat WHOLE FOODS. your stomach will make you feel happy over time. if you have your health, you have your future.

If this can just help one person, then thats more than enough.
Remember your gut effects most of your mental health.
I'm testamony to that.
I have been sick for the last 4 years and im out of reach for recovering physically, but if anyone can benifit from it, I throughly believe it can lift someone out of depression. If someone wants I can make a step by step guide for optimal health. And of course always take baby steps.

This is the kind of post this forum should be filled with...people in pain trying to use their experiences to help those who think they are alone. I can stand here along with those whose are much iller then I am, because we are here for the same thing. What this user is preaching is beautiful. They live everyday in pain yet they still want to help others. If that's not a Nobel cause, I don't know what is.

Never feel like you shouldn't be here because your problems don't stack up to another user. We are all here for the same reason. We all seek connection, let's embrace each other! There isn't some magic tablet out there that tells us what justifies suicide. WE decide what we do with our bodies, that makes us all more alike then we even know. This place is special, check your ego at the door and let's just be a community of goodness

I'm physically healthy and eat good and take many quality supplements, but socially isolated lifelong so not totally true. It helps with enduring that suffering though.

So true. Especially about the exercise. I played sports since 3rd grade and the year I stopped was the year my mental health really spiraled out of control. I'd advise anyone struggling to if you can please work out! Not only might it provide temporary distraction from what's going on in your head, overall you'll be a lot healthier.

Wow thanks I'm cured. Damn if only I had the introspection to realise that because I'm not crippled that it's all in my head and that I'm going to be fine.
Gosh darn it my whole life is ahead of me #CarpeDiem

I've suffered from mental issues all my life. The only treatment that ever worked was booze. Now I suffer the agonising consequences, notably to my gut.
I would dearly love to go back to when I suffered from depression and tell myself not to drink or smoke and get some exercise.
It's great advice.
Trouble is I wouldn't listen. I can see it now but I couldn't see it then.
How many of us can take such profound advice based on someone else's experience? I wish I could have.
I believe we should all try and maintain good health whatever our mental state. It's good advice but can be very hard to take.

I have mental health issues like most of the people here. But in health physically. I wish i could make all the things u r talking about. My meds make me want to eat more including sugar or fast food, and when i am depressed i can't exercise.
Most of the time i can't keep my resolutions to be a healthier person.
I think that people with mental issues should feel lucky enough if they don't have addiction pbs.
But most of us can't even dream about having a healthy life.
We bearly can stand up and act as if we r normal people so others don't notice we have issues(in work place..). And believe me this is a big battle

IDK why you say this applies to mostly men. I'm a woman who has a very painful physical condition which disables me a lot of the time. I've been like this for 14 years and my life has ended.
