• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

In a few weeks though.

I'll apply lidocaine cream from the pharmacy and I'll take opiates, so that pain shouldn't bother me much.

Then, I'll take an damast knife and slice till I reach the aorta on my throat, unless wrist or any other place would be better?

I believe I can do it, although it's not easy. I believe that I have the willpower to get it this way.

I'm tired of any other methods, I just want to bleed out and pass out. If I get the stupid aorta once with the very sharp damast kitchen knife, I should be set.

What do you think? I think it's far from impossible, maybe a bit tricky, but the aorta on the throat can't be that deep?

Please don't do this, it's very dangerous, besides, the SI will kick in, so even if you manage to get hurt you'll give up and end up with permanent problems. I'm sorry for what you're going through, but please don't do this.

The wrist is pointless as well. You have to cut deep, and the pain will be excruciating.

People usually die from this accidentally.
A few die intentionally.
This is a very hands-on method. Be prepared to summon all of your will.

Hey man, it's your life and your decision but i really would not recommend you to do that.

A trauma with carotid arteries will cause a lot of hemorrhage, you're also going to suffocate.

If it's not too deep and someone finds you, there is still a little chance of survive.

You can see by yourself:
Warning: There're strong photos in that article.

Agree, super risky and basically requires an anatomy class to get it right. Very unlikely you'll be able to continue to the point of success. You're better off building a guillotine (But I don't recommend that either!)

I suggest you DON'T try that. The aorta is in your heart. The artery in your neck is the carotid. Cutting it is not going to be easy, and you might damage a lot of tissue before you even hit that artery. Consider a different method.

Do you seriously think that over the counter pain medication and numbing cream is going to decrease the pain of cutting an artery in your neck to a tolerable degree? it will not.

I'll show you that it will work in the end, it's not the first time for me doing something like this. These answers are way too pessimistic. One guy even bit his artery open in jail with his sharp teeth and he died easily, so what's all that here?

Also, how long can it take with an sharp damast knife to reach the artery? 3 seconds if the angle is right?

I know that you're unlikely to listen to any advice that anyone give you on this thread. However, I hope you can take what all of us have said into consideration. I worked in healthcare and I've treated multiple patients who slit their own throats deeply. None died. All were admitted to the psych ward after being treated and stabilized. All had terrible scars that modern plastic surgery would likely not even be able to revise.

We're not being pessimistic here. We're just being realistic about the odds of what will likely happen. However, at the end of the day, the choice is yours, and none of us can actually stop you.

These are the carotid arteries, there is no aorta at that point. I have no idea how painful it might be, but I know that it was once used by many prisoners as soon as they had some suitable cutting tool. Here it also happens among young people. I don't want to seem intrusive, but I wanted to ask you why you chose this method?

"Tragedy in Terracina, young man takes his own life by cutting his throat It was a terrifying scene that the police and 118 found themselves faced with at dawn on Sunday in a house on the outskirts of the city; the extreme gesture, apparently, at the height of an argument with his girlfriend. He took his own life by cutting his throat with a knife. This is what happened at dawn on Sunday morning in an apartment on the outskirts of Terracina."

I chose this method out of "convenience", I just need a very sharp knife among other easily obtainable things. But I chose a different method by now since literally everyone here told me not to do it this way. The new method is explained in my latest post.
