  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

If you have alternative or old medication, you might try that. Alternatively, you might try physical exercise or even starting a start like writing a short story. Sometime abrupt activity changes can provide a sense of control when things seem to be slipping away.

As far as writing fiction, it does not have to be good. You might start with a character similar to yourself who faces some problem and overcomes it.

i have a lot of different hobbies its just the side effect i get from this medication makes the depression SOOO much worse. like im more likely to die on this medication then when im not taking it. but its suppose to help with the hallucinations and im thinking that if this doesnt go away in (an unknown amount of time thats basically going to be decided on how i feel) im going to try taking an antidepressant as well to maybe stop the thoughts

There is a nutritional supplement called GABA that is supposed to help turn down the volume on intrusive thoughts. Many people use it to help them get to sleep. You might want to read up on it and see if it is something you want to experiment with.

Can you get GABA naturally from foods?
You cannot get GABA naturally from foods. But a variety of foods contain substances such as flavonoids that influence how GABA works in the brain. These foods include:

  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Teas
  • Red wine

Some meds make you feel worse before they make you feel better. Hang on in there, I hope they end up working for you as meds have been good to me and stopped a lot of the intrusive thoughts and hallucinations.

I didn't realize you could supplement GABA. Many sedatives and hypnotics influence the GABA receptors in your brain in order to calm and enhance sleep.
