I saw someone post about they don't feel like they're fit for life and I feel that a lot. I'm an adult, but every single day is exhausting. Even when I'm in a good place, the weekend comes and goes and I dread going to a job that I actually like. I'm waiting for the day where I just don't get out of bed and let myself get fired. Everything is stressful. Everything good I feel is fleeting. Things are especially bad around my period, like all these feelings that are usually in the background get amped up to eleven. I'm tired of never feeling secure in my brain and body. I'm tired of being so damn sensitive. I'm tired of feeling like everyone around me is thriving while I struggle. I'm tired of ruminating on the same problems all the time. I'm tired of being so sensitive. I'm tired of feeling so different from everyone else. I'm tired of feeling too weak to function in society.

I am sorry you are going through this. The feeling of disbalance must be very frustrating. I've experienced something very similar in the past, up to a level that would almost make me unable to function properly.

Could it be that there is some condition that you need to check for with a doctor - for instance, some hormonal issue or some vitamin deficiency? You say that you feel too weak to function in society. Maybe it could have a biological cause that is discoverable and treatable. Also, could it be that you are experiencing a burnout despite liking your job, and that a good measure of holidays would help deal with?

I am just guessing here. In any case, it is great to read that you like your job for real. That's one of the best things that can happen to us in life, I think. I hope you are able to figure out what's causing this and get better soon!

I appreciate your reply.

I have scheduled a doctor's appointment because I suspect I may have PMDD. I also have sleep apnea, but have been inconsistent with using my CPAP. Gonna try and get better at that.

Thanks for the suggestions!
