I take care of my old boss's mother who suffers from dementia 4-5 days a week during the afternoon.

I'm in a freaking basement 24/7 on disability after I suffered a psychotic episode which completely destroyed my life. I do absolutely nothing of value. My existence is meaningless and pure agony and torture.

I work full time in a field I don't particularly enjoy. Every day is a struggle to go to work and stay there. Job market here is next to none so no hope in change.

Work full time. Man earlier today the company was hosting a workshop at this new hotel and while I was there I couldn't help but examine the building as a potential jumping station. It's tall enough to kill someone I think but the location is just terrible and good luck getting to the top without being noticed. And the building design is such that you would probably hit onto a surface way before you hit the ground, effectively shortening the distance to travel. Man I wonder what my bosses would think if they knew what my brain was up to in that place.

I figure if I resign before I ctb, it will make it easier because I won't have to ask for more time off work.

I just know it will screw them over though because they are having trouble covering shifts as it is.

I used to think I'd find fast friends among other suicidal people. Hasn't happened. On the contrary... But it's comments/thinking like what you shared that keep me "happy" to be among other suicidals nonetheless. :)

Why do you think people like us don't meet each other "out there"? You know, like gaydar, how gay people often seem able to detect each other? I spent most of my 20's fantasizing about meeting other suicidal people out in the real world and being able to commiserate silently...

When I had a bit of cash, I would try to give fun-ish short jobs (3-4 hours) to people like us thinking others would get some cash and we could NOT feel like misfits around each other. Just never worked out as I planned. I hope you get somewhere good for you soon.

Yes, I miss way too many days because of my mental issues- I used to be the guy who went to work sick or no matter how I felt, a girl at work,who is very sweet and actually was sad I was going home "sick" said " you can stay it's usually always in our head" lol exactly! I miss who I used to be but who knows if I can get back to that? But yeah my boss has been super awesome about working with me needing so many days off and he doesn't have to be

I have too many issues to be able to work full-time.
Worst of all I can't stand when people harsh on me or unfair, I explode.
Secondly I have chronic fatigue and ADHD
I can work 4 hours a day maximum and it better be not repetitive work.
Thats why I am fucked in the long term
I never was any near rich but I didn't have to work to survive.

Unfortunatley yes, full time project enginner. Genuinely hate getting up, hate work. But somehow I manage. Generally I switch jobs every 2-3 years as I get bored.

How people hold down the same job day in day out I will never understand. At the age of 26 I've had 5.

Job hunt, try not to sleep all day, job hunt some more, play some games, do a little bit of excerise, job hunt some more, and go to bed. Also working with a psychiatrist to get my depression treated as well as seeing a support group every week, which is helping somewhat, but yeah...it's hard battling depression when you've been unemployed for a while. Not to mention all the other unique hardships and past traumas and so on. Yeah...majority of my time is job hunting and sleeping.

I had a successful small business for over a decade, but now i'm too sick to work. It's a big part of why I want to ctb, I feel useless now.
