• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

In everything we do, in everything we think, we are animals in everything. There are major neurological differences even though they say there is not. Not only major by many differences. The physical body shows it. The framework the purpose is different. Do you not understand evolution? where it is not the the traits formed to fend off the predator, but a trait that had survived, allowing to reproduce. And do you not think our consciousness evolved with us? where we are able to distinguish ego. I swear if it weren't for ego we would have all killed ourselves by now or had completely given up. Where pain is a reminder of who is in control. The animal that is in control all of us. And sure you can say But I have the will to move my hand left and it not moving right when I will it. But can you decide when the snake decides to come out of the grass to bite you? Of all the factors that allow you to breath another breath if the air isn't lacking the oxygen for your brain to even function? Even given all the pressures my "animal" continues to fight avoiding all stressors and throwing all it can give to keep me breathing. We are not in control even though our evolved consciousness tells us so. "but then why does it look all beautiful? so you also find a dead body beautiful? do not forget both sides of the scale where everything beautiful is matched and more so even more vile. This is what we have to deal with, as we were born into this world, but this world had gracefully given us a gift like a double edged sword, and a jagged back door to leave.

No we're not animals in everything. We're human beings. We're animals, of the order of primates, but we think about things more than other animals. At least when we're fulfilling our human nature. (Maybe the cetaceans might groan at that.) That's our trick. We're not the fastest. We're not the biggest. We're not the strongest. We don't have teeth that can take off a leg. We don't have the best eyesight or a sense of smell that can smell a mate from miles away or even from across a room. We don't have any magic sixth sense. But what we can do is think about the consequences of our actions before we enact them, we can think out the consequences all the way through to the end. That's it. That's our thing. The clue's in the taxonomy: homo/femina sapiens. And we try to be kind, because it's been a good survival strategy for us in the past. But we don't always succeed. And we make mistakes. So what can we do? Can we work miracles? Or what?
